Visit Fundrazor.us for your fundraising needs.

Decide on how much money you want or need to raise and what that money will be spent on.

Break this goal down to your participants and how much each person will need to raise. EXAMPLE. If your goal is $15,000 and you have 350 participants. Then each person needs to raise $42.85 in profit for your fundraiser.

(Check with Fundrazor for formulas and percentages used in fundraising.) Consult Fundrazor for the best possible fundraising product. "Keep your ears and eyes open." Is anyone else in your area doing a fundraiser?

Delegate a person or committee for all fundraising issues.

Establish dates for the start and completion of your fundraiser. Stick to these dates.

Choose an incentive or prize program that will encourage participation and motivate sales. Here are some suggestions:
a. Always use prizes that will appeal to the age and gender of your participants.
b. Ask local stores to donate goods to be used as prizes. This can be great for publicity for them.
c. Create a prize for the top performing class, group or team to provide added competition or enthusiasm.
d. Reward participants for early and accurate order collection.

Create a flyer noting prizes and how the fundraising profits will be used. Thank any and all sponsors. Mention the dates for starting and completing the fundraiser.

To achieve maximum enthusiasm, hold an assembly or pep rally with EVERYONE involved; preferably on Friday so that enthusiasm makes it home for the weekend.

Pre-collect on all sales. This will help alleviate hassles. Trust us on this one.

Encourage parents to offer your fundraiser at their work. Encourage participants to make a list of everyone they know so that they can call to offer this fundraising opportunity. Discourage door-to-door selling unless accompanied by an adult.

Upon completion of the sales campaign, calculate orders and money. It is always ideal to keep track of everything that you can. Individual orders, class, team, group and all money collected.

Take a minute to acknowledge participants and their achievements. Everyone loves a pat on the back.

On delivery date (if needed), make sure there are enough volunteers to help with distribution of product. It is always better to have too many people than not enough.

After delivery (if needed), pat yourself on the back for a fundraiser well done! Make plans with Fundrazor for next year and earn deductions from your invoice.
